Question GPU not responding

Hello guys. I recently hibernated my laptop when a game was still running and then windows failed to boot correctly after. I installed new OS after ,but when I tried to install the GPU driver, it slammed the DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION BSOD. what could be the issue? I hope it's not hardware related.
