gpu not showing in bios under tools, on crossblade ranger mb with version 1702 bios. how can I get it to show up?

My gpu info is not showing in tools in bios version 1702 on asus crossblade ranger mb. Reinstalled and deleted all drivers and reinstalled them ,still not showing. Cleared Cmos and same thing. Any help would be appreciated

Is this a integrated chipset or cpu graphics chip or a pci-e card?

What are you trying to do for gpu in tools?

Sorry , Its a discrete pcie gpu card 3.0 genx16. In bios tools its supposed to show info on gpu card,but nothing is there. running VisionTek 7850 hd

Hi

If the gpu is working correctly then i would use different tools
Speccy from piriform gives lots of usefull information about hardware & software
Drivers etc

Mike -- OP is talking about the Tools menu of his ASUS mainboard. There is an option about showing GPU info in there.

OP -- the information doesn't show up on my Maximus VIII Gene mainboard either. I figured it might only work with an ASUS GPU (I have an EVGA).

Is your bios actually UEFI ?

Some older graphics cards are not fully compatible with UEFI
There may be compatibility setting for older pci-e graphics cards
