Question GPU not showing in device manager

Tried checking show hidden devices, dont have the option to switch gpu in bios, shows 3D video controller and unknown device under unknown devices (in device manager). (nvidia 840M) dell inspiron 15 3000 series.

Have you make sure the driver is installed properly ?
