Question Gpu not showing signal to monitor

My pc was inactive for 27 days.Then I was setting up my pc...But there was no signal on the monitor.I have connected gpu to monitor using the vga to hdmi converter.What is the problem here?

Ram:8gb DDR3
Gpu:Nvidea gtx 1050
PSU: don't know actually

make sure you connected cable right + clean your pc and make sure your gpu is working right

Pull your gpu and connect to the onboard graphics and see if that works.
