Hi guys,

I hope someone can help with this incredibly annoying issue I'm having.

So yesterday about 5pm I updated my AMD drivers to the newest one. After playing Overwatch for around an hour, all my audio and video just cut off. It seemed that my monitors had suddenly stopped recognising the GPU. Now, my GPU was still running fine from what I could see. Everything connected, lights on, fans on etc.

My MOBO doesn't have video out but luckily my brother has an MSI NVIDIA R9 390, so I swapped the GPU in order to access the video output.

Here are all the solutions I have tried:
Restarting PC
Uninstalling and deleting all AMD related stuff (drivers etc)
Swapping power leads for GPU
Removing RAM and turning on whilst adding one at a time in numerous slots
Resetting CMOS

Please if anybody has any suggestions I'm willing to try anything now as I feel like I've completely run out of ideas.

OTHER ISSUE: Since swapping GPUs around, my PC won't recognise the Ethernet cable. If anyone knows why I'd love to know.

Might sound like a noob here, but how do I do that? Thanks for reply.

Edit: Also, I have no internet access as mentioned in original post so installing drivers is not really possible.

Download DDU and the AMD driver from your brother's PC and copy to your with a pendrive.

here the link for DDU:

I've found a wireless adapted so I'm online. I've uninstalled my drivers and restarted PC, now installing drivers for GPU. Will post results, thanks.

Okay so that hasn't worked at all, at this point I'm thinking the GPU is just fried completely? Any other alternative ideas?

have you uninstalled with DDU and didn't work?
have you tried to use the GPU on the other computer?
