asus vii ranger,
gigabyte 750ti

Board asus vii ranger.board has 3 pci slots total 3rd can't be used due to its too low hits psu box.
Good gpu = nivida 750 Ti .
Bad gpu = nVidia Quadro FX 540

I have tested a good gpu in first slot doesnt work. Tested bad gpu in the first slot it works.
good Gpu in second slot works. Have not rested bad gpu in second slot.
I have noticed the first slot has more pins than the second slot but then I'm no professional as to what that means for the gpu.
When the good gpu was in first slot wasn't detected by windows device manager.but in second slot it was so I Uninstalled all gpu drivers and reinstalled with disk.

updateing bios didnt fix problem ither

http://1drv.ms/1PM8VgU << link for some pictures.

before you ask yes. i do plan on getting 2 better gpus in future, but the gigabyte 740ti is doing just fine for now

yes i tried all that, but with the gpu connected shouldnt there be a display in bios without the drivers?
ive reinstalled windows 10, latest drivers from nivida. and asus bios

do you have integrated video? make sure you disable that when installing Win 10. That gave me a small issue when I was installing Win 10 with my GTX 980. had to connect my monitor to the integrated video port on the mobo, disable it and plug back to my GTX.

intergrated video? yes thats from the cpu .
when the gpu is in the second slot the hdmi cable is in the gpu wont work from the boards hdmi port.
when the gpu is in the first slot the hdmi is in the gpu and there is no picture.... only get picture when the hdmi cable is in the boards port.

how do i disable the intergrated?
in device manager?
when the gpu is in the first slot in device manage the gpu is not there. its not detected in bio ither.

you disable it by going into the BIOS

thought so, but when the gpu is in the first slot, shouldnt there be a display anyway or?
ill try disableing intergrated in bios.

as soon as the system recognizes a GPU is connected the integrated chip should get disable. but here thats not the case.
