Hi All,

I recently bought a GTX950 to replace my old GTX500 series, but for some reason, when i boot my com up, there is no error beep, but i can hear windows booting up , but there is no display on my monitor. I tried different monitors too. I also passed the card to another friend for him to test, and he is able to boot up his computer with no error.

Question i want to ask is that, does PCI-E 2.0 or PCI-E 3.0 matters? my board for what i understand is a PCI-E 2.0 board.. while the card supports up to PCI-E 3.0. Is this the reason for my GPU unable to display? or is it a power issue?

My GPU,

STRIX-GTX950-DC2OC-2GD5-GAMING

My Board ,
P8P67 PRO

My PSU,
650W psu.

Any answer would be very appreciated. thank you all in advance..

You'll need to use integrated graphics or your old card to install the firmware if it's your first time and you don't know the exact key presses to do it blind

Going to try it.. hopefully it works :) going to get the card back from my friend...
