Hello,
I built my system in 2012 and have added a better gpu, and an ssd and was able to run games properly since then. This year I moved to college and have been unable to run games the same way they used to run. I could run crysis 3 @ 60fps ultra 1080p in the past and now when I start the game I am getting like 2-3 fps. This problem is not only in crysis; I have the same issue in all of my other games. When I check under display devices it says that my graphics card is working properly. I've updated all drivers and have cleaned my pc with ccleaner, scanned for viruses, and checked to make sure I was running my video from my pcie in the bios. Here are my hardware specs:
GPU: gtx980
CPU: 3570k
RAM: 16gb @1600 corsair vengeance lp
Mobo: msi z77a g45 gaming
SSD: 250gb 840 evo
HDD: 1tb wd blue
PSU: corsair xc600m
OS: Windows 10
If you could help me diagnose this problem that would be much appreciated.

Sounds like the gpu may have died. Those fps sound like what you would get on intel igpus. The pc is using your intergrated graphics. To confirm this, right click on desktop and click screen resolution-advanced settings. Under the "Adapter" tab it will say adapter type. If this says Intel(R) ... graphics then the pc is using the intel igpu.
