for video editing on my budget i must choose a gtx 960 or a 770.
770 has more cuda cores, even if has lower gpu freq,
it seems a little bit better in most cases (benchmarks) than the 960 but
what about video editing experience? Premiere and efter effects?
more cuda cores will improve rendering times?
what about H265 encoding/decode/workflow?
960 seems to have h265 native function encode/decod included, it will enhance workflow experience in Premire better that a 770 can do? wich is a better choice?
770 or 960? thanks if you answer and..sorry for bad english

I am sorry I missed the lower time is better. That is what I am like at 1am. The 770 will render faster, I do not see safety in spending more on hardware that can not do as much as the cheaper option. You will lose less money when the 770 becomes obsolete.

that graph says: "time in seconds, the lower the time the better"
are you sure?

i'd go with the 960 4gb. the 4gb will probably be useful for video editing. the 770 does usually perform slightly better in benchmarks but it's usually safer to go with a newer card instead.

someone finally answered me in Adobe forum, so.. the h265 native function of the 960 is useless in premiere.
770 4gb seems more powerfull, cheaper and with greater memory throughput than the GTX 960: twice as much (224 GB/second versus 112 GB/second).
(even if is older and consume more watt)
i'm seriously thinking on going to 770 4gb and stay in peace for next 2 years..
