GPU only spins when I play games?

This the build I have.
When I turn on my PC my gpu fans spin for two seconds then stop but whenever I play a game I have they start spinning the whole time till I exit the game. I was wondering is this normal? should I get a new gpu?

That is completely normal. A lot of newer GPUs do not start spinning under they are under load and reach a specific heat temp.

Yep, it's normal and a factory setting in the card BIOS to hit a certain temp before they kick in. My 1080Ti has two fans and they don't turn on at all unless I turn on my Afterburner fan profile or I get into something that gets GPU temps up. I had GTX 970s in SLI and that was the first experience I had with it. But I was aware of the newer more efficient tech in GPU reviews.
