For quite some time, I have been having trouble with my display going out when in the middle of a game. After removing my GPU, I have had no problems with the display going out when I am playing. My problem comes down to my understanding with the interpretation of the results from the furmark stress test I ran. I ran a stress test on both my CPU and GPU. The CPU stress test had no problems, but the GPU stress test did. After stress testing my GPU for less than 10 seconds on about 5 different attempts, the display would go black. Keep in mind, the system is still running; only the display is out. From the monitoring software I was using, the temperatures did not even get to extremes of where it should have crashed. Instead, it seemed to crash only when the GPU hit the 100% power usage mark. I am very confused what the problem is here. Is this GPU failure, or is this CPU failure?
