I currently have a cheap $500 gaming PC that I want to upgrade. I'm looking into either upgrading my CPU or my GPU.
My CPU is an AMD FX-4300 and my GPU is an AMD R7 250. I'm willing to spend around $150 on upgrading either one of them, but I'm not too sure which one is the "weaker link" in the system.
For example I was thinking about upgrading the GPU to a GTX 1050, but I'm worried that my CPU will bottleneck it or it won't affect my game performance as much compared to a new CPU.
So should I upgrade my CPU or GPU, and if so, what CPU/GPU?
Thanks!
