I'm problem solving crashes when I am gaming or running benchmarks

MSI 7270 sli plus
Intel I7-7700 K
16 gig Corsair Veng
EVGA GeForce 1080 ti
Kracken cooler

I did a clean install of windows and tested with Heaven and Kornbustor - still crashed
I disable the GPU in bios and switched to Intel over dvi - still chrased
Pulled the GPU and, using Intel over dvi, no crash

Which is correct:
  1. The GPU was still pulling power when installed but disable in Bios - that's why it still crashed the system - it is a faulty PSU
  2. It's the GPU
  3. something else

Temps are fine - have been monitoring - both around 30 C when idle - fans set to keep temps below 60 c when gaming

I did a RAM test - came back no issues

Thanks - I ran the benchmarks with Nvidia set to debug - no crashes - so it is the GPU. Can't handle the factory overclock setting.

I appreciate all the help.
