GPU Overclocking no real effect

Hi there,
after running a few benchmark tests with different memory and clock speeds there are NO changes in fps:

can anyone tell my why there are no differences in fps even though i've changed the clock speeds drastically. I don't believe there are any bottlenecks, here is my system hardware:

CPU : FX-8350
GPU : XFX 7870 DD
PSU : Cooler Master GX 750W Bronze

Memory errors. GDDR5 has memory checking and correction. If you get memory errors the card is slowed down due to memory correction.As in your last overclock @1606 for memory.
There are about a 10% difference in your 1100 overclock setting. From stock. With a 10% overclock you got a 10% improvement in fps.

so then what is the solution/alternative to this, just keep clock settings at stock? or slight increments from the last benchmark seeing what fps is the best, increasing memory clock at a slower rate than core clock

Start out overclocking the core in small increments of 5-25 MHz steps. Leave the memory at stock for now. The higher you get the smaller jump the next try. Test between each increase and look for artifacts. Anything that does not look correct. Missing textures ,flickering ,misplaced objects, out of place colors. small dots on the screen etc..

Once you find your max core clock subtract 25mhz and write it down. Set core clock back to default.
Not start with the memory. Same process Raise it a little and test. Repeat, repeat until you get errors or crashes again. Or until your score no longer goes up or starts falling.

Back off the max memory 25mhz and set your max core clock -25 MHz and test. If all is good raise the core 5mhz and test. Raise memory 5mhz and test. Repeat this until you get errors, artifacts or crashes.
Once you find the max combined core/memory overclock back off 10 MHz and run a couple hour OCCT video stress test.
This will really stress and heat the card up to max temperature for a final stability test.
It will also tell you if you have errors that are not visible.

Oh boi..here we go...You have to play with the BIOS powerplay and TDP settings until it scales with voltage/overclocking and doesn't throttle.

Well..I guess there's no point in walking you through getting the most out of it now as you have already picked best solution.

dude i have the same problem.I have a n760 tf and when i oc it there is no change in fps.I have unlocked the voltage to the max i have afterburner latest version that is 3.0.0 18 beta version.I have a 650 watt psu and im sure there is no bottleneck as i have fx 6300 cpu and 8*1 gb ram.Also is ur problem solved.HELP ME BUDDY
