Just bought new Lenovo laptop (z51-70) and it has a AMD M375 graphics card. I get good fps when I start playing. But after a about a minute, GPU temps hit 105 or 106 then the laptop throttles the GPU and fps drops to 10-12. Also GPU temps rise very fast when playing, it goes to 90 within a few seconds.
I have tested this with Dota and Dark Souls 3 (with both on lowest settings). I know the laptop isn't really meant for gaming but I have played both those games on weaker laptops at decent fps.
It's a brand new laptop and it seems to have cooling issues right from the start. Using a cooling pad didn't help much and the internal fan seems to be working normally anyway. Is it possible that the thermal paste has dried out?
Also, before anyone asks, I have updated drivers and BIOS and I have reinstalled the drivers using DDU.
