So im just curious if its possible that my laptop overheat while playing gta 4 on (extra) low graphics while i can play battlefield 4 on ultra and no overheating. At gta 4 it gets really fast to 90 degrees on low but at battlefield 4 on ultra it gets only till 80 or 75 degrees. While im playing gta 4 my laptop starts beeping after reaching 90 degrees and that after like 10 or maybe 15 min of playing.

My laptop:
GPU: Nvidia geforce gt 635M 2GB
CPU: Intel i7 quad (3630QM) 2,4 GHz boost 3,2 GHz
Ram: 6GB

Try cleaning out the fans, then redoing the thermal paste, I recommend arctic silver 5, cheap, and works awesome. Don't run multiple programs while gaming. Disable windows aero while gaming (put it in classic mode). Also, don't forgot the ventilate it properly, on a laptop, you would probably succeed more at lower temps by gaming from a table/desktop. Thats about all you can really do to maximize lower temps, I mean maybe your bios might have the option to turn up your fan speed, but besides that... As @potpolima said, never play games on a laptop.

laptop is not old even one month so cleaning wouldnt help but if my laptop can handle bf4 on ultra without overheating it should handle gta on low...
