Hello, so I got a problem with my GPU. When I play good graphics games(in low graphics games it shuts down later, but shuts down), when I play games, the GPU overheats to 80*C+ until laptop turns off(like the battery would be taken off), I guess it is preventing the GPU from burning, from checking in the internet, I only can ask, what should I do to prevent the laptop from overheating, cause it is just about 3 months old....

I found that in control panel nor dxdiag can't show the processors, my GHz and so on, I don't know why, but it just shows n/a or just nothing... but as I remember, I have i7 processor, 2.4GHz that can boost to 3GHz, 6GB Ram and 1 GB Graphics card... please help.

Well, thanks for your answers, I have a 2 years warranty, so might bring my pc to them at first, and checked a cooling pad for my pc, pretty expensive(as I don't have money at all), but it has 2 fans, as my pc stands up from radiator, there are few big books covering the pc, the books are very cold same as the pc until it heats up. The down side of computer has plenty of space to ventilate, it is put on books so the down side is in perfect position. Also, I have put fan speed to 100% with MSI Afterburner, but that didn't help me... It's just about 3 months old, why did that happened? Usually problems occur after warranty ends.... 😀 I didn't thought it will happen so fast, what do you think is the concrete reason and the thing that got broken? I hope someone can give me list of potential or maybe known things that can be broken. Thanks.

By the way, what are heat sinks and other stuff? Im not a expert of computers... I just know it couldn't have any dust cause it is 3 months old... how to check the heat sinks and is it not dangerous?

I blow out my system monthly and get plenty of dust out of it. 3 months is plenty long enough to clog up a heatsink and/or a fan.

Hello, so I can finally say, that I think I fixed it. The problem was, that I was on ,,Balanced" power mode. When I go to ,,High Performance" mode, everything looks pretty good and nothing turns off(atleast for now). Well, have fun!

Respectfully,
Patrikas

Hello, unfortunately, the problem occurred again and it seems that power plan is not working. I've did put it on high surface and now the pc overheats less, but turns off in a few hours(more than 1 of course). I played Battlefield 3 on 78C and pc turned off and I didn't saw the temp., but I think something is still wrong!
