i have a Cit Neptune gaming case. i have 2 fans on the front taking in air. one exhaust at the back and a small 80mm fan on the side panel by the transparent acrlyic which is pulling air in. i have two intake fans in front 1 in back and another intake on side panel however after burner says 67C I KNOW I KNOW 67C is amazing temperature but its reading wrong 🙁 it isnt 67 its like 90. wekk the right side of the same gpu is like 50 celcius and the left hand side feels like boiling water when i play. and i have to overclock i need toso can someone tell me an issue. i cleaned gpu fans. replace gpu thermal paste.

Solution

No.

I cannot give you an answer to this, as there is no set answers. Some cards will only handle 25mhz, some will handle 100. 166 is nuts without a lot of extra cooling.

You need to do this the right way, or don't do it at all.

Here is a good article:

Do it that way, put the time and effort in to do it right, or you're just going to damage your equipment.
well the thing is at the idle times with only windows desktop running and it gives be a temp of 27 celcius i feel my gpu. dont know if im meant to xD but i feel it and it is 27 but when i move hand to the left it feels like 40 celcius or hotter than room . since the temperature is uneven (hotspot) the readings are certainly wrong . i hope they are right. but at 40 celcius the left hand side feels like 60

Try getting it looked at a pc store for cheap (;

guys once in my life time it did throttle yesterday it throttled like crazy when it sid i hade 67 degrees celcius on msi after burner. yes i was overclocking but problem is i thing the temperature reader is literally inside the cooler half of the gpu

throttling is lagging and shit? yesterday i starter crazy going 0 fps to 25 yet it only said 67C pls prove me wrong in a way that i can be certain msi afterburner is correct. i ahve heard other people with wrong temp readings but theirs would show higher than normal readings. i think mine might be lower than normal. is there any explenation if i am right i hope that it is all good and i really wish it is under 80 celcius

How much have you overclocked it?

Did you turn up the fans?

Yes framerate drops is throttling.

You overclocked 180mhz? Thats a pretty big jump. What method did you use to get there? What specific brand and model of card do you have? And did you adjust the fan curves to compensate for the extra heat?

The card starts to throttle at 80C so if it is throttling then maybe you are correct about the temp reading wrong. It could be because the overclock is too high.

never throttled ever if if dosent throttle is it safe. like is that all there is to it no throttle it is safe. can it still be a damaging temperature without throttling if id dosent throttle shall i ignore it
