GPU paired with CPU good enough for gaming?

Good day! I am planning to buy Gtx 750 ti (I'm not playing in a resolution higher than 1600x900), can my CPU: AMD ATHLON II X2 255 handle the GTX 750 ti? Too much bottleneck? Can I run AAA games in medium to high in 720p?

for the newest games, u should be able to run it on mixed settings
u will feel the bottleneck when u play AAA titles that are CPU demanding
i suggest u crank up the settings to balance the burden between CPU and GPU usage
