the performance of my gtx 970 has dropped significantly at complete random, it was running a slight overclock and even with it disabled i get the same results, the gpu hits 100% usage but barely goes above 55c when running unigene heaven and my framerate using the heaven benchmark has gone from roughly 60 to not going above 22 my cpu cores are barely being used and they stay at idle temp throughout the benchmark, i suspect its something to do with a bottleneck between my i5 4690k @4.4ghz and the gtx 970, i have encountered similar things to this in the past using this configuration and i usually just disable the overclock and the issue resolves its self but it hasnt seemed to work this time and im wondering what could cause the performance to be limited and how i could potentially take the limit off the temperature on my gtx 970 to stop a performance reduction cause i also believe that may be an issue. any feedback is much appreciated thankyou for reading 😀
