I just recently upgraded from a GTX 1060 to a GTX 1080 strix oc, and i'm having a strange issue. On initial load in to games/ benchmarks my framerate swings from very low (on initial load) to a stable high. I think that the stutter that I am experiencing is related to fps swing but I just wanted to run it by the good people on this forum to make sure i'm not just being a GPU hypochondriac by thinking something is wrong with my card.
Gsync is disabled, and the overclock has proven to be stable.
This is on a fresh install windows 7 updated and stable drivers. power modes are set to high and nvidia driver performance preferred. I will post information and benchmarks below to see if you can spot anything unusual. Something interesting to note, which I don't know is actually relevant is when I was running Valley to benchmark I was having a text typing delay.. could that be a ram issue?
