ASUS radeon hd 5770

Solution
I found this for the cards requirements.

"PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard. 450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended."

If you count for other things in the system using the PSU as well, such as hard drives, CPU etc... You could be pushing your PSU limits.

I would upgrade your PSU and not go with anything less then a 750wt.

What size is your PSU? Normally this indicates your PSU is not strongh enough to handle the card if it can even spin the fans and remain powered on.

Are you plugging new card into this PC for the first time? What is the old card and what is the new card models? What is your PSU model.

Please provide more information.

PS

And no you dont need to preinstall drivers. It should show a display at the low settings until you properly install the correct drivers. Then you should be able to adjust the size to something higher.

Okay my
PSU: EVGA 500w
Older cards: Radeon r5 240
And yes this is my first time installing this card
