Gpu ports not working .. is it dead ? :v please no

here's the story ..

my pc still running ... like everything .. because it boot up and i can here the windows opening sound and shutdown ,,
but my monitor showing "check signal cable"
my monitor, cables, and pc are working because i tried to use the on-board gpu (im using it right now)

the problem is whenever i use my gpu .. my monitor is checking signal ..
i also bought a new hdmi to dvi and hdmi to mini hdmi adapter .. my monitor is just black screen ..

i never tried my gpu in other pc because i dont have any friends to do it ..

samsung syncmaster sa450
gtx 560
4gb ram

Specs?

Do you have an additional PCI slot? Maybe try it there, or reseat the gpu / power connectors (both on GPU and PSU end)

It's also a oldish card, maybe you need to bake it?

no dude .. im using n68-s3 ucc old mobo
but no worries i got it worked after almost 24 hours of doing troubleshoot ..
i just reinstalled my monitor firmware in my onboard gpu to installed it then re sit my old crappy gpu ..
