hello. I want to upgrade my graphics card but there is a problem...
my psu has 2x 4pins and 1x 6 pins cables. the 1x 4 pin cable is used from the motherboard, so i have only the 6 and the 4 pin cables. The new gpu i am looking for requires the classic 6 & 8 pin to be powered. My current old gpu doesnt require power.
So.. will it work if use an 4 to 8 pin adapter and the 6 pin that i already have?

thanks in advance

Yes you will require a newer PSU then if you have already bought it.
If you are just planning to buy and haven't already bought it then you should rather go for a GTX 960 which will work in your PC with your current PSU also.
