My magic 8 ball says……..Hey ya all. This has prabably been asked before, I appoligize, but I want to know when GPU Prices start to head south.
When they get cheaper is when the prices will start to go down.Hey ya all. This has prabably been asked before, I appoligize, but I want to know when GPU Prices start to head south.
OptimistI'm not expecting particularly good performance-per-dollar to return until 2023.
There is about a dozen new 3-7nm fabs and campus expansions entering production in the 2021-2023 period. I certainly do hope this will make a dent in demand backlog.Optimist
i feel like it's a chain at this point don't you think? They already do according to some. But IMO they won't reach MSRP levels in few years (if at all).
I know, it was a bit sarcastic but I do think we will see an unprecedented jump in MSRP for each tier next generation. There is about a dozen new 3-7nm fabs and campus expansions entering production in the 2021-2023 period. I certainly do hope this will make a dent in demand backlog.
Prices are supposed to drop for new cards upon release some time between the end of July to around October, grab a card quick because price gouging goes into effect about a day after cards are released. Don't expect to pick up an RX 6600 XT or RTX 3060 Ti for $350 though. It all depends upon supply. Nvidia and AMD have sold every card and the vast majority went to miners.Hey ya all. This has prabably been asked before, I appoligize, but I want to know when GPU Prices start to head south.
