Hey guys! i need help, so Last night i cleaned my table then repositioned my PC (w/o unplugging anything) then i tried to place something on top of my graphics card (a metal balicomb, which weigh a bit), after placing it i noticed that i lost my display, after that i tried to restart my PC but no display but the fans rotate, Yes they rotate but not like the traditional that they would shut off after a while after turning on. I tried removing it and placing it back again, but found no luck in doing so.

specs:
Intel Core2Duo E6550
P5KPL-CM Mobo
4gb DDR2 RAM
Asus Expedition 1050ti 4gb
Don't laugh HAHAHA

ps: sry for my very awesome english!

The moral here is plastic combs and cases are your friends.

And you should not place anything conductive directly on electronics.

The jerk you saw/felt was most likely a short caused by the metal hair comb causing a massive amount of current to flow through parts of the graphics card that shouldn't have that much current.

On the bright side its a perfect time to buy a new computer ... any computer with a PCI-E x16.
