Gpu problem???? Help please

Hi when i ordered my cyberpowerpc two days ago i acceidentaly selected the option for a sli bridge. But the thing is i am only running one gpu the gtx 980. Will this affect anything in my computer and gaming experience. Because i know some games do not support sli and do you think the game will detect that i am doing it even though i am not?

You need to have at least two matching cards for SLI. Having an SLI cable you can't use won't gain or cost you anything except the money spent on it. Motherboards that are capable of SLI usually come with SLI cables, so they are charging you for something that they shouldn't have had to pay for (unless they buy bulk motherboards that don't include the accesories)
