Hello people of the internet,

I've built a PC today and after me and my mate put everything in the case and booted it up (with the VGA in the mobo) everything looked ok, but when we restarted the PC with the VGA in the GPU everything was fine except no response from the GPU even when it's fans were going.

Is this the GPU, PSU, or mobo fault?

Btw my PSU is the corsair RM650. Wiring up the cables wasn't that clear.

Also when I pulled the cable out of the GPU I heard a short snap sound, have I broken the PCI slot?

Any help is welcomed!

What do you mean by no response? Your system isnt detecting your GPU??

Yeah even when I go into my mobo explorer it isn't detected. I'm getting an optical drive today to install the drivers. Could that even be the problem?

Ok after I attempted to install the drivers with the cd that came with the GPU, it didn't work because it couldn't detect the hardware. So I took the GPU back to the store I bought it from, and they tested on their test bench and it turned out to be a faulty card.

So thanks for the concern about the problem. But it's just a faulty card.

Haven't got it yet they didn't have any in stock. Going to get it maybe this week if I have time. I still have onboard graphics for the meantime.
