[SOLVED] GPU problem

Alright, so I recently finished a build, and am wondering why my ancient xfx Radeon HD 6850 would not work inside of it. (I'm just testing)

i7-6700
Corsair hx620w PSU
16gb ddr4 ram
ga-b150m-hd3 motherboard

I insert the graphics card into the pci-express slot, plug in the 6 pin connector, start up the PC and the fans throttle really loud (100%) like really, really fast. There is also no display while this happens.

I have the i7-6700 onboard graphics installed. (intel hd 530)

Have you tried updating the system BIOS of this new PC ? That's a pretty old video card. Are you booting in UEFI, or Legacy Mode ? Try legacy, if possible. Clear all the CMOS settings, and then try again.
