Hello, I am having an issue with my gpu, atleast I think it's my gpu.

This just started happening, and it only happens with Rocket League. When im playing my game freezes(Doesnt crash) and once it happens I have to press Start button + L to log off and log back on to unfreeze the game. I have a Windforce GTx 980 4gb, I tried Uninstalling drivers, Reinstalling Drivers, reinstalled game, Turned Vsync On and off. but nothing works. Never had this problem before. NEED HELP. Thankyou.

"and it only happens with Rocket League"
First sign that is might not be the GPU...

Instead of logging off then back on...
Open task manager then use that to open resource manager.
Within resource manager take a look at disk usage and CPU usage and see if either one is pegged to 100% usage.
If there is a usage issue take a look at the list and see which process or program is doing it. If you don't know what "WhateverProcess.exe" is then google it and you'll be able to see what program it belongs to and if you can shut it down or if it's just doing an update.

If everything looks good in rsource manager:
Run a chkdsk c: /R
(C: Or whatever drive your game is loaded on)
(make sure you use the /r switch or it won't help)
Why? I've seen multiple computers hang while attempting load data in a bad sector on the disk. Sometimes you'll get a bluescreen sometimes it freezes and sometimes it will just slow you down... a lot. (I've been a computer tech for many years.)

Download and run a scan with Malwarebytes Free (not the trial)
Why? I've seen viruses and malware eat up system resources and cause games to run slow or freeze up.
