GPU: Radeon R9 270x or GTX760

Hello,

I'm looking to buy either a 270x or a gtx760. After browsing all the threads about this already I still don't have my answer yet. Basically I've read all the stories about the price difference and performance but no thread gives a clear answer which one is better.

I'm only looking for performance difference, not the price, could someone please give me a clear answer. Thanks in advance.

They both perform differently in different games. Some games are smoother with NVIDIA cards while some run silky with AMD's cards. These 2 cards run all games with 40+ FPS on 1080p so not much of a difference.

My biggest concerns are games like skyrim, anno 1404 and gta iv, what card has the best performance on these? (should've mentioned this)

edit: also, I'm upgrading from a hd7770

Just go for asus r9 270x hawk it beats gtx 760 to hell 760 =997mhz ,270x(Asus )1100mhZ also games like Battlefield 4 is opt for amd

55fps average is with this one r9 270x hawk with recording

The GTX 760 is faster in the majority of games.

Bench marks r for r9 270x (normal) not hawk version check for that and all those games were opt for nvidia dude!!!!

All R9 270x and GTX 760 on the market are the same. Manufacturers just overclock them, give them better coolers, and increase the price.
I recommend Gigabyte's Windforce 3x cards. They're cool and quiet
