Hey guys,

This is my system specs-

i) intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.4 GHz

ii) Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H Motherboard

iii) 16 GB (8GBx2) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz RAM

iv) Corsair VS650 650 Watts Power Supply Unit

v) Corsair H60 AIO CPU Water Cooler

vi) Gainward GeForce GT 640 2GB DDR3 (Please don't laugh)

I'm currently looking at GTX 1060 6GB. So is that GPU good for gaming at 1366x768 resolution. I might upgrade to 1080p in the future, not beyond that.

And how about a 1070? I might need to wait for another 6-8 months to save up some more money if you guys recommend that.

And also, should I upgrade my RAM to 32GB? (I know it's overkill for gaming but I want to do some Photoshop and Corel Draw as well)

Thanks in advance everyone ;)

For 1080p not much point in getting anything faster than the 1060 and with a 1070 or 1070Ti I'd suggest looking at getting a better quality psu.

all depends on your budget and if you want to game on a better resolution in the future .

If you have the budget , go for GTX 1070 ti , more future proof . if not , GTX 1060 6GB is a good card for FHD ... but not much future proof.

Hey guys, I've planned to swap my VS650 with Corsair RM750x. How's that PSU? Will it be good enough?

And for the GPU, I'm getting a Gigabyte GTX 1070 Ti G1 so will that PSU be any good? I don't want to destroy my components just because of a bad PSU

The RMx units are great PSUs.
