Hi guys,

I was wondering what are the requirements GPU-wise for running a 4K monitor or a dual 4K setup?
No gaming, no video editing (maybe in the future), mostly photo editing and simpler tasks.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks a lot for your answer.
Would 2 GTX 970 give better performance than a R9 295x2 ? I was thinking maybe this is the best bang for your buck (almost as expensive as one GTX980).

Will this work for two monitors as well?

i agree gtx 750 will defenitely work 4k but you cant game on it in the future as you mentioned

Should do as far as i know.

Its never worth buying good graphics cards to game "in the future" though because things move so quickly. A $700 card can be $300 in a year.

Regular 2D windows stuff is very easy for even low-mid range cards, even at 4k. But 3D stuff will require a lot more power, but the longer you wait the better as cards are getting more powerful and cheaper all the time.
