Hey guys, I'm having some issues with my GPU, it is constantly running at 100%, making the fans run at 100% and the gpu is running at 100C,

specs

CPU; Intel core i5 750 @ 2.67ghz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 560 *not ti*
ram: 8GB

Is my CPU affecting my graphics card? and making it run at these temps

okay, so at the moment, i have my pc case open, with a fan blowing on it, its cool in my room, its a med sized case, no cables in the way of the GPU, and all that is open on my pc is chrome, google talk, and BitDefender, even if I close ALL of these programs, it still does it.

the GPU is NOT over clocked, and I read the temps etc on Gigabyte Easy Boost.

The only thing that changes fan speeds on my pc is Easy Boost, but its set to auto, and because the temp is so high, its running the fan is at 100%. Any other ideas? :SS

But see how do you know its running at 100% is what confuses me. Is it just loud and you think its running at those speeds? I would install afterburner and take a look. There is no reason your card should be reading those temperatures. Also, what is your power supply?

Okay that is different. Yea I have a gigabyte card as well I have never used there software. I would get in contact with Gigabyte and tell them how hot your card is getting and that you would like to RMA the card. It's pretty dangerous for your card to be running at those temperatures.
