GPU runs slow

Hey I am having problems with my new GPU(GTX 970) and it is running horribly. I have installed my drivers and I have gotten rid of my old ones, but yet it is still very slow. I made sure it was properly in my motherboard and I know it is compatible with my motherboard.; I also made sure there was enough power.

My Specs: i5 4690k,
GTX 970 windforce
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 mobo
RM650w psu

Is there a particular benchmark or game you're running that is operating poorly?

Run HWMonitor then run the benchmark or game you're having trouble with and post the HWMonitor screenshot so we can see the GPU and CPU specs.

I am trying to play world of tanks on improved settings and it is playing like my GTX 750ti even though I got a 970 now

Alright run HWMonitor then run the game, screenshot HWMonitor so we can see your CPU and GPU results in HWMonitor. Post that here.
