GPU Sag Solution?

To counteract the effects of GPU sag on my Asus GTX 980 Ti, I installed a Puget GPU brace underneath my card. It seems as though the card was bent downwards after a week of regular use. When I went to prop it up, I feared that I may have forced it up too much.

Could this cause issues, pushing the card up too much with a brace?

Solution
A small sag or upward tilt shouldn't negatively impact the card. As long as the pins stay securely installed in the motherboard and you don't have anything drastic like a 30 degree tilt the card will be fine.

Well a brace should be pushing the card up, only holding it up. If you are bending the card up further that how the card should normally be, it's probably not a good thing. If you had to put some pressure to lift it back up to a more natural "level" position, then you're probably fine as long as you didn't put excessive force on it.

well theres lots of mcgyvered stuff out there ..

I would just forget about it though unless its a really severe case (haha). Better off than a chopstick slipping into one of your GPU fans.
