I'm looking to upgrade my system for better performance in games and I'm kind of on a budget. I'm looking for something to compliment my Ryzen 5 2400g, but I have a budget of about $100. Do you guys have any suggestions, or is this completely hopeless?

For $100, the best you can do today is a GT 1030. And that is going to be the equivalent of or slightly less than the Vega 11 you are using now.
Sometimes you can find a RX 560 for ~$100 used, open box, or refurb.

This RX 560 4GB is right around $100 new. Not a bad choice if you want a 50% to 70% bump in graphics performance.

If you are willing to go used, there have been RX 570 cards on eBay for that price.

Just be careful who you buy from and watch feedback as many of them are likely used mining cards.
An 8GB RX 570 for under $100! :D Man, you can tell that the Bitcoin craziness is over, huh? At least for now. That would have been a $400 card a year ago.
