I recently started to clean out my gaming PC only to find out that the shroud on my 1060 zotac is coming off and wires are exposed, I don't know how it got like this but it did when I unplugged it from my pcie slo, also would like to know if others have a defect like this since I hear of it happening to zotac cards? All this time it's been working fine but I don't want to use it is there a way to fix the shroud on a GPU?

Wow now I hate myself for buying this one should of went with the EVGA but it's too late 🙁

Can I use epoxy or gorilla glue with safely knowing it will hold up till I get a replacement (when prices come down) in the so meantime?

There appears to be plenty of space around the posts to fill up with glue, then you could fit longer screws. Should fix the problem for as long as the fan lasts.

However this may void the warranty so you should first contact Zotac. Perhaps you can get them to just send you a new fan and shroud so you won't be without the card for the time it takes to RMA, as they are certainly aware of the problem by now.
