I just built my new system about a week ago and when playing TF2 it usually completely shut down the computer after about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. It cannot be turned back on until I flip the psu switch off and back on again. My temps are fine. Not even close to hot, but when playing overwatch it basically happens instantly when I actually start playing in a game. I think my GPU is under extreme load. It's a 100% for the majority of the time before it shuts down, but I'm not sure if that can shut down my computer like it is. If I overclock it would that help otherwise what can I do?

A good quality 550w(or larger) PSU is plenty for the specs you listed. I would take a good quality built 550w PSU over a low quality 850w psu anyday.

XFX 480 GTR 8GB This card actually consumes waay too much for a 700W thermaltake PSU. Also it is paired with a very ecology disgusting processor as FX 8320 it drains QUITE A LOT of energy... Still im not so secured your PSU cannot handdle that draws... BUT im pretty sure that it has been damaged in its lifespan. It could be by very demanding draws or even a light cut. I suggest you to change it for a huge PSU like evga 1000W GQ or sentey 850W metal blade if you dont have money to actually affroad a tier 1 psu.

That system doesn't even come close to needing a 850w or 1000w PSU and that Sirtec made Sentey is just a bad choice as it is likely to suffer the same fate as the thermlatake only quicker as they usually fairly low quality components, it has also been discontinued.

A good quality 550w PSU would be more than enough for those specs. Quality over quantity.
