GPU SLI Help

I am looking to buy the new GTX 1050 ti 4gb single fan. I currently have GTX 960 2gb.
I was wondering if I could SLI them with the space between the slots on the msi 970 gaming
I am mildly gaming on games like LMS, Dying Light [ I need more VRAM for ultra settings, and CSGO as well as gmod and DragonBall Xenoverse 2
I really want the ultra settings BTW

NZXT s340 purple/white
Hyper 212 evo cooler
10 GB ddr3
MSI Gaming 970
FX 6300 [stable OC at 4.65 ghz]
GTX 960 2gb SC [dual fan]
Case fans
3 corsair AF 120 purple and 1 [maybe 2] case fan 120 mm [they come with the nzxt]
500 GB H100J 5.4 SAMSUNG HDD
1 TB toshiba 5.4 HDD BIT FENIX ALCHEMY PURPLE STRIP
PSU 550 watts

1. SLI requires the cards to use the same gpu, vram and the cards have to support SLI.
2. The 1050Ti does not support SLI. With the 10xx series only the 1070, 1080, and 1080Ti support SLI.

Sell the 960 and get a 10606gb or rx480/580.
