GPU smells just a little bit burnt

Hi, I was picking components for a new pc and decided to get a second hand GPU, MSI GTX 1060 3GB Gaming X for a pretty good price, the card seems to be 1 year old from what the guy has shown me and not been used for mining and stuff.

When I got home I noticed that when I sniff the fans up close it smells a bit weird, like burnt but not really. Can only sense the smell from about 2,3 cm from it and idk what it means, could it be dead, could it be dying?

Also I can't test it as I don't have all the components needed yet so idk what to do with it, any opinions welcome.

If it smells burnt from any distance , do not buy , huge red flag.

i would ask the guy to take it back burning smell could be overclock or mining that he will not tell to sell is gpu .
