Gpu spikes with stragely even intervals.

I have an asus gtx1050ti expedition and for the last couple of months its clock and memory frequency spikes up in idle with clockwork like time intervals. Is it normal or something is going on? (performance when gaming didnt change over time)

Scan for viruses, but windows recently has been becoming more 3D demanding I have noticed. Desktop manager is always using 2.5% of gpu vs the below 1% it did before. Nothing to be alarmed or lose sleep over.
