GPU started crashing after installing stuff

So, nothing was weong with my pc. I install a plugin for Sony Vegas video editor. Cracked, so I had to use one of those patchers that plays weird music. Then suddenly PC started crashing, with a loud fan noise coming from the gpu.

At first it was every couple hours. Until it became as soon as I start up the PC. I force shutdown with the power button once, and the PC went to repair mode the next time i started it up. I dont know what to do.

I have a spare GPU laying around. But i wanted to ask her before doing anything. Dont want to lose any data. Maybe I already did, but idk.
