Question gpu starts but stops after a few seconds

hi there,
i recently bought a new pc and wanted to upgrade it so i can game on it. the specs are a
550w gaming psu
gpu is a gt 210
cpu is a core i5 2400

so i was installing a geforce gtx 1050 in (removed all the drivers btw) and it started but stops after a few seconds.
any of you has any suggestions?

Hey man,

You mean the fans? Could be that your GPU fans just spin at boot and then have a 0% fan mode built in.

The GPU might need a 6-pin power connector from the PSU if so make sure that is connected. I don't think all 1050's have one but i'd check anyway.

What stops? The PC stops working?
The screen stops working?
Please elaborate about what the problem is.
