GPU static damage?

my gtx 960 2gb doesn't work after removing it and putting it back.
the 2 fans are still spinning
will boot to the bios screen, hang and beeps 1 short beep about every 25 seconds.
keyboard wont work.
tried on different systems. some will show the motherboard screen some have black screen but all beeps 1short beep for 25 seconds.

what is the cause?
does it have a fix?
no more warranty.

If you touched the gold contacts, try cleaning them with a q-tip & 99% alcohol(in case oils from our hand got on them). Other then that, there isn't really much else you can do.
