GPU stopped working

Since the past week, my GPU has been shutting itself off during graphic intensive moments in most games. The display just goes out black, the only way to fix this is to rebooted the entire PC. But last night, I was playing Watch Dogs 2, a game I've been playing without issues since 2 weeks, and during an artistic explosion scene (i.e, graphic intensive), the GPU just shut itself off. Even a reboot didn't fix this, it just refuses to [strike]boot[/strike] work no matter what. My system powers on but nothing happens cuz the GPU just pretends like it doesn't exist. No LED light-up, no fan-spin, nothing.

Before you answer, please know that I made this build back in the first week of Jan and it's been running fine up until now.
Oh, and, I've recently updated to Crimson 17.2.1, I believe that's when shit started hitting the fan.

Below are my specs:
MSI PRO VD-PLUS Mobo
Intel i3-6100 CPU
AMD RX 470 (Gigabyte G1 gaming edition) GPU
Corsair 8gb DDR4 RAM
Hitachi 2TB HDD
Antec VP500PC (500W PSU)

Solution
I'd runn DDU in safe mode first and see if that helps.

Once you do that reinstall your driver and see if that fixes the issue. I do see one issue with your build though. your antec PSU. It is a tier 3 unit and not the best. I suggest only using tier 1 and 2 units as the lower tiers can cause instability and outright failure potentially causing damage to your components. Point being if possible return or replace your PSU as soon as you can/can afford it. It would be cruddy to have ruin your nice build. Especially if running DDU doesn't fix the issues your having. One sign of a Bad PSU is it crapping out during gaming longer sessions (>20 minutes) or during...
Remove the GPU form machine, boot on iGPU, uninstall Crimson. Then put back GPU and see if it goes back to life. Check it in all PCIex ports (that is, if you have more then one). If it runs at this step, then indeed drivers might be the cause. If still nothing, borrow GPU from a friend and check if you boot with it installed. If yes - your GPU is dead, if no - it's the motherboard issue or PSU issue.

Solution
So I did physically remove the GPU. Connected [strike]VGA[/strike] monitor to iGPU and booted but erm-.. There's no output? I think it was the same before y'know, the whole GPU problem. But I didn't bother with it since I wasn't ever gonna use the iGPU. So uh-.. What else could I do? (I've got Warranty on the mobo)

EDIT: I live in India but bought the GPU from the United States, would warranty work?

warranty should work. Get a hold of nvidia and see what they have to say. If it is your PSU that went bad it is possible it damaged your mobo and GPU or just the PSU itself is bad. Again your Mobo could even be the cause. Anything you can replace with a warranty I would at this point. One thing did you try using different cables to connect your video card and see if any of them work. And again you have a tier 3 PSU which is not the best quality.

Yup I tried a different cable but same thing, didn't boot. The PSU worked fine up until now so-.. I doubt it'd start acting up so randomly... Anyway, my entire build is under warranty (except GPU) so guess I'll have to replace and stuff. Would it boot with another GPU btw? (Just asking incase I'm lucky enough to procure another GPU)

I used the jumper cables to reset CMOS, can't say it worked since there was no display before and after it. Is there another way for CMOS Reset?

Eeeyup, tried that method, no display still. I jus noticed that the power on button of the cabinet doesn't light up (used to have a blue glow surrounding the button) after I press it. So I suppose this is indeed a PSU issue (...right?). Well, I'll be off to the service center in the next week. And urm-.. How do I claim warranty?
And how can I be sure my GPU hasn't fried off lol?

Edit: The button doesn't light up regardless of booting with GPU or iGPU.

But after a few seconds, do fans slow down to normal speed? If yes, it's actually good sign. It means something is still alive out there. However, since you can't get display, there's hardly anything more we can test.
Most likely cause of problem now is the motherboard. But it could be power supply failure as well. And it is also possible that your graphic card failed too. Hopefully service center can get the work done for you.

Yeah, it does slow down a tad bit, but still generates a slightly higher sound than usual.
Although with the GPU attached, it does sound completely normal (which is almost silent).

EDIT: After a couple restarts with the iGPU, it did indeed work and I was able to uninstall Crimson using DDU. I reinstalled an earlier version of it and the GPU is working perfectly now!
Thanks for all your support guys, highly appreciated!<3
