[SOLVED] GPU stops working when reaching max temperature

This has happened 3 times so far, with these two games: Man of Medan and Devil's Hunt. With Man of Medan, an action sequence caused the screen to go black and the in-game noises being distorted, i couldn't do anything and had to restart my computer. I then increased GPU max power to +50 and my fans were already running at 100%. Crashes stopped there.

On Devil's Hunt however, i already got this same problem twice, and in all of them, my GPU is at max temperature. When i restarted my PC, i got a message from Radeon saying the driver had stopped working but came back fine.

My PC settings are:
CPU - i5 6400 3.3GHz
RAM - 8GB DDR4 2133MHz
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 590 OC ''Phantom Gaming''
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
SSD - Gigabyte 240GB SSD
PSU - Corsair VS600

Devil's Hunt is installed on the SSD and Man of Medan was installed on the HDD.

Is there a way for me to increase the temperature limit? MSI Afterburner only allows me a max of 85c

EDIT: Im using driver Adrenalin 19.9.2

No. you can't. Here is the review from our site, the 85c is high. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/asrock-phantom-gaming-x-radeon-rx-590,6021-5.html

But make sure to clean GPU, dust free. Or you can try to reapply the thermal paste on the rx590, or buy the aftermarket GPU fan to replace the stock fan, or open the case, and use other fan to cool down the GPU. Or replace the GPU, if you have the budget.

I bought and installed the GPU some 3 weeks ago, it has no dust and the thermal paste is new. I have a single fan sending hot air out, should i add another to send fresh air in?

I saw a YT video where the benchmarker had his RX 590 reaching 90c. How is that so?
