Help! When trying to fit the GPU screw into the case, it dropped and got stuck somewhere under the GPU. I then made a big mistake and tried to unlock the card from the pcie slot and now it's stuck. I really don't want to break the pcie slot hinge or the GPU pcb

My GPU is zotac amp omega 980 ti and my mobo is an asrock h97 pro4

(Edit)

My card came out, but now the pcie latch popped off! Can I refit it? Or is my card fine without it.

(Edit again)

OMG I just found out the lost screw got stuck IN THE GPU. after shaking it a little, it came out, but now I'm REALLY worried about the gpu

P.S. The screw was found between the shield with the ports and the GPU heat sink

Ok, you there is a little clip with pci-e slot right? Check that first. Then push down the GPU into the slot slowly and softly. If it is stuck, it shouldn't be in right position. You can use little bit of force if necessery. If GPU goes back to its proper slot position it should unstuck. If you can't manage to unstuck the GPU, remove the motherboard from the case and try to push down again. Sometimes because of the position of the components you can't find the right place to push. But again first, try to push down to its proper position.
