I recently build a PC... I am looking for best GPU for 1080p.. No budget limit.. I need ideal 1080p gaming GPU

I am considering R9 480, GTX 1060 & GTX 1070 GPU's

For 1080p go for the RX 480 or 1060, Personal preference tbh. 1060 Performs I think 15% better though, I may be wrong, but I know it performs somewhat better.

A GTX 1060 is a great 1080p GPU. I have the ROG Strix edition and it beasts through 1080p.

The GTX 1060 is a good 1080P GPU but since you say you don't have a budget limit I would actually look into the GTX 1070 as it would last longer and you could even take advantage of Nvidia DSR to downscale your games from 1440P or 4K to make them look a little bit better.

A 1060 and rx 480 are for 1080p. A 1070 is for 1440p. A 1080 is for 4k. If you do consider buying a used gpu I would look on ebay for a gtx 980 ti which is cheaper then a 1070 and performs very similar to it; if not pretty much a little faster since a 980 ti has better overclocking. I recently bought a 980 ti instead of a 1070 but my 980ti cost more then a 1070.

Is GTX 1070 is over kill for 1080p.

Is the performance of GTX 1060 better than GTX 970 and 980 ?

The 1060 is faster then the 970 and performs similar to the 980. The rx 480 does not perform better then the 1060. But the rx 480 can crossfire while the gtx 1060 can't sli. The 1070 isn't overkill for 1080p; The 1070 will last you a long time and can also sli if you want greater performance in the furtue. If I were you I would pick up a 1070 if you play newer games that will come out next year. Like bf1, for honor, etc. But a 1060 or rx 480 is you play like league, csgo, overwatch
