So I will be sharing a workstation build which is at my work place. All of you will probably laugh halfway through this post.

Here is the current config:

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.20 Ghz
MOBO: Supermicro C7H170-M
RAM: 64 GB Corsair RAMs (16Gx4)
SSD: 120G SanDisk
HDD: 1 TB x 2 Hitachi Drives
GPU: NVIDIA GT 730 4GB DDR3 from ZOTAC (Yep, laugh at my misery)

So here's the deal. I recently got a promotion and I am planning to ask my boss for an upgrade, I have to do most of my work at home because I have a GTX 960 at home. But as I cannot always rely on working at home, my work heavily demands fast renders at unexpected hours, because I am working in the broadcast industry. (Yeah, I have no idea why they chose to give me this card, by the way all of the editors have this as well. SMH)

Can you please suggest a low profile card suitable for video editing, after effects compositions & for using the ray-traced renderer. I need it to be in the small form factor or atleast very low profile since I have a Blackmagic Decklink card right next to my current GPU, so please keep in mind I have a Zotac GT 730 4GB

I know it is usually FirePro or Quadro but it would be immensely appreciated if you could find me something good below $250.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
